Corsair specializes in performance memory with higher clock speed and/or lower latency. They have brought out industry firsts, like RAM modules with diagnostic LED readouts. The CMX line are Corsair's single modules, the TwinX line are their kits of matched pairs of high speed RAM. There are a wide variety of clock and latency choices. Corsair ValueSelect is a low cost generic alternative, and is guaranteed to meet the RAM module specification, but not guaranteed for compatibility in specific models of computer.
Corsair RAM comes with a limited Lifetime Manufacturer's warranty (Flash RAM 3 - 5 years) Corsair RAM is shipped from the warehouse in Pointe-claire QC, most models are available for shipment within 2 days, and special orders are available for shipment usually within 2-4 days.
