Order terms: By ordering from CanadaRAM Ltd. you agree to these terms and conditions

For your protection:

The charge card billing address, name and phone number must be provided, for your protection we may also ask for additional ID and/or a photocopy of the card and signature to be faxed. The credit card issuing bank must be able to verify the billing address, name and CVD code. Orders where bank confirmation or requested faxed ID are not forthcoming will be cancelled. Street address, phone number and postal code for delivery must be provided with orders. We require written confirmation from the cardholder if product is being shipped to a third-party address. Fax to (250) 385-6267. Why do we ask for confirmation? To protect you. If you were purchasing in person we could verify your signature, your ID, and that you were in posession of the actual charge card. Without verification, anybody (your pizza delivery person for example) who had your card number and address could fraudulently charge purchases to your card.

Payment:

Payment is accepted by VISA, Mastercard or Interac Email transfer from a Canadian bank to sales@canadaram.com. Non-certified cheques will take 2 to 3 weeks to clear before order is sent. Orders are accepted at the sole discretion of CanadaRAM Ltd. Submission of an orderform and/or payment does not constitute a contract to supply goods. Orders are accepted at the sole discretion of CanadaRAM Ltd. Availability and price of goods can change without notice. Appropriate taxes and shipping will be added to your order if left blank on the form.

Paypal:

PayPal payment to sales@canadaram.com is accepted, 1.5% shipping insurance and a delivery signature are mandatory on PayPal orders. eCheque orders will take 7 - 10 days before PayPal releases the funds. Your PayPal emails will show payment to sales@canadaram.com (Trevor Inkpen).

Discount coupons:
From 1999 to 2006 CanadaRAM issued "Smiley" coupons for a $10 discount on RAM orders over $100 pretax. These coupons were discontiued in 2006 and the oldest coupons are now over 5 years old. Due to the declining prices on RAM, CanadaRAM will not accept any further Smiley discount coupons after October 15, 2011

Prices:

Prices are in Canadian Dollars, and are subject to change without notice. please Email to confirm price before ordering. GST is extra in Canada, HST is extra in BC, Ontario, NB, NS, and NF. Appropriate taxes and shipping will be added to your order if left blank on the order form.

Shipping:

Please ADD your products to the shopping cart in order to view shipping price estimates based on your location and items purchased. You must enter the address (including door access or intercom buzz code if in a multiunit building) and postal code accurately, or additional courier fees may apply. Extra charges will apply on orders with incomplete or incorrect addresses. Shipping charges are not refundable.

For special orders, volume purchases, PayPal, Interac or cheque payment, special shipping arrrangements and items that don't have pricing or ADD buttons, please email us or fill out our manual order form

Special orders may take longer. FedEx and Purolator packages and insured packages may require an adult signature on delivery. We do not guarantee arrival dates or times, delivery is dependent on courier performance. Shipping time and cost may be higher in NU, NT, YK and remote areas.

Shipping Insurance:
Shipping is at the buyer's risk, liability is limited by the common carrier's coverage of $100 per shipment, CanadaRAM Ltd. will not refund an uninsured purchase in the case of loss or damage while in transit. We recommend the buyer purchase freight insurance, 1.5% extra on the cost of the goods, it will not be added unless you request it on the order. Receipts will be sent by email. No PO Boxes for Purolator or FedEx shipments, PO Boxes are OK for Xpress Post and Expedited Post packages.

Submission of order form does not constitute a contract to supply goods - acceptance of orders is at the discretion of CanadaRAM Ltd. only. No credit terms are offered.

Gov't, Educational and Institutional:

Purchase orders may be accepted on prior approval of account application only, fax credit application to (250) 385-6267. Paypal payments are not accepted for volume discount or academic discount orders. Charge card payments are not accepted for settlement of credit term accounts. Volume discount pricing incorporates a discount based on payment by cheque, payment by charge card may not qualify for the cash/cheque discount.

Warranty:

All new goods come with the manufacturer's warranty (see some manufacturers' terms here) - excludes damage done by customer. Contact CanadaRAM or the manufacturer for warranty return instructions before sending. The manufacturer's authorized depot for warranty return differs with different products. Customer is responsible for shipping costs. CanadaRAM does not provide over the counter exchange on manufacturer's warranty claims.

Returned goods with damage (including freight damage from inadquate customer packaging) will not be accepted for refund or warranty and will be charged at full price.

No other warranties express or implied. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from the manufacturer designated depot. Customer's sole remedy is repair, replacement with equivalent goods or refund of purchase price at CanadaRAM Ltd.'s option. In no event will CanadaRAM Ltd.'s liability exceed the price of the goods. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CanadaRAM Ltd. excludes for itself and its suppliers any liability, whether based in contract or tort (including negligence) for incidental, consequential, indirect, special or punitive damages of any kind, or for loss of revenue or profits, loss of business, loss of information or data, or other financial loss arising out of or in connection with the sale, installation, maintenance, use, performance, failure or interruption of these products. Some countries, states or provinces do not allow exclusion or limitation of implied or consequential damages for certain products supplied to consumers. You may have specific legal rights which may vary depending on local law.

Installation:

Goods are sold under the assumption that you have experience installing hardware/software in your particular machine. Refer to your owner's manual or manufacturer's Web site for instructions. Accessory parts, screws, tools or cables are not included unless specified. If you are not confident, please take your machine to a qualified technician for installation. Confirm your model required and compatibility before ordering.

Returns:

Compatibility of these goods with other hardware or software is not guaranteed, and is the customer's responsibility to verify prior to purchase. Returns of non-defective goods only by CanadaRAM Ltd. pre-approval at the discretion of CanadaRAM Ltd., only if goods are unopened and in saleable condition. Customer bears shipping costs, restocking charge may apply to cover our costs. Labour, shipping and handling are not refundable. Warranty replacement only and no return for refund on Kingston memory, CPUs, Motherboards, Software or special order goods. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy however the information on this website is not intended to be a guarantee of compatibility and may be subject to unintended errors, changes or revision without notice.

Outside of Canada?

We generally do not ship outside North America. Please Email first for shipping costs (anywhere from $12 to $150 plus insurance depending on location and speed of service). We will not ship until you have given confirmation of the total amount. Your charge card will be charged in Canadian dollars, and your bank will make the conversion to your currency. There are no Canadian taxes. You will be responsible for all taxes and duties due to your country, and for all shipping on warranty returns. Any special offers, exchanges and free shipping offers that may from time to time be offered are not valid outside Canada. Buyer assumes all risk of loss in shipping. Orders are not accepted from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Nigeria, Romania and any other countries where we have experienced high rates of attempted fraud. We will not ship to third-party addresses, only to addresses verified with the cardholders bank or PayPal.
