BRANDS WE CARRY

We use a Secure Sockets Layer web page for pages that you enter any personal information into, and we use 128-bit encryption on the transmission of data from our server to our office. It is only decrypted by a CanadaRAM memory expert. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details. Warranty and Genuine products. All products sold by CanadaRAM.com are covered by full manufacturer's warranty, and CanadaRAM.com / Quill Services Ltd. is an authorized reseller.

For products other than RAM modules 1 year is the typical warranty, however warranty terms and conditions vary by manufacturer and product. Warranties cover defects on materials and workmanship. They do not cover compatibility, installation issues, software installation or data loss.

We recommend that you back up your data in full before installing any hardware or software. If you are not confident installing hardware or software, please consult with a qualified technician. There are over 20,000 different models of computer; we cannot provide installation instructions for your specific machine. You can usually find instructions in your owners manual or on the computer manufacturer's website, or on a Google web search.

Please email sales@canadaram.com with any warranty questions before returning products. You will be given instructions specific to the product and authorization to return. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Un-authorized packages and freight-collect packages will be refused.

CanadaRAM policies

Lifetime warranty on RAM modules: RAM modules have a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty (see terms below) Flash RAM has 3 - 6 year warranties depending on brand. We only sell new, full warranty, manufacturer authorized products.
No-Risk Upgrade: You may return generic RAM within 10 days for a full credit towards an upgrade to Kingston or Corsair branded RAM where available. Email us first for authorization.
Compatibility Guarantee: If we quote Kingston or Certified RAM by email for a particular computer and we make an error, we will pay all shipping on replacement.
DOA Replacement Guarantee: A very small percentage of RAM is defective on arrival - we pay for all shipping on warranty replacement in the first 10 days.
Non-Defective returns: Sometimes circumstances require you to return a product without using it. Email us first to discuss, and we will likely be able to take the product back if it is new, saleable condition. Depending on the product, a restocking charge may be payable. We do not accept returns on software or special-order products. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Definition of Manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty: Manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty is limited to the lifetime of the part in manufacturing. When a part has been discontinued by manufacturers, and remaining stocks have been depleted, repair or replacement cannot be made, and the lifetime of that part is ended. Goods are subject to the terms of the manufacturer's warranty. There are no other warranties express or implied, and in no case will CanadaRAM Ltd. be liable for refund or replacement of goods outside of the manufacturer's warranty terms or in case of manufacturer non-fulfillment of their warranty.

Shikatronics RAM had a manufacturer's warranty however Shikatronics went out of business in 2008 and with them, the ability to claim on the manufacturers warranty expired.

Make sure to include the make and model of your machine, your full shippping address, phone number, correct email address, the number, expiry date and name on your credit card plus the card billing address and phone if different from shipping address. Payment accepted by VISA or Mastercard or Canadian bank Interac Email Transfer. It must be your credit card and the card billing address and shipping addresses must match. For your protection, we may ask for additional proof of ID to be faxed. Third party address shipments require faxed confirmation. Contact us for PayPal payment options, can be shipped to verified address only.

Shipping is via Xpress Post, Expedited Parcel, FedEx or Purolator at our choice. No PO Boxes for Purolator or FedEx. Please ensure that there is someone at the address during business hours to sign for the package. We do not guarantee delivery time. Shipping time and cost may be higher in NT, NU, YT or remote areas as defined by the courier. An invoice copy will be sent by email.

Shipping is at buyer's risk, Shipping insurance is 1.5% extra on the goods value or by quote - if declined, the buyer assumes all risk of loss or damage. Signature is required for insured parcels.

Installation: Goods are sold under the assumption that you have experience installing. Installation instructions for your specific machine are not included. Refer to your owner's manual or manufacturer's Web site. If you are not confident, please take your machine to a technician for installation. We are not responsible for any damage occuring during or after installation of purchased products, nor for any incidental or consequential damage or data loss arising from installation or use of purchased products.
